DIY Network: Tour My Bathroom, Pre-Remodel

December 16, 2011   //  Posted in: Bathroom, DIY Network Projects   //  By: Emily   //  one response

In the same vein as the master bedroom, my bathroom is kind of a private place and that’s a big reason why I don’t write about it often. Oh, and I’ve also keep it hidden because it needs a bit of help, and aside from swapping out the towel racks, a mass renovation is in order to correct the sloping floors and correct what may be shower mold.

I’ve been saving up for awhile to give it a well-deserved overhaul, top to bottom (you probably only remember me writing about how I bought a new vanity, that was in April, oi vey), so thankfully DIY Network wants to help. I’ll be writing about lots of this renovation over at The Pegboard, and giving you little weekly updates here.

As a sneak peek of what’s to come, I put together a video for DIY Network so you can actually see the bathroom and hear my echo-y voice from a bunch of different angles (even exposing my terrible storage, blasphemy).┬áCheck it out right here (clicking the image below will also take you right to the post, wink wink)!

P.S. If you want to see what the bathroom looked like when I moved in (pre-new-paint), you can see a photo of that and a few of its current state in the before and after section of the site (right here). Teal and duckies!

P.P.S. Thanks to Apartment Therapy for featuring my ikat-painted closet yesterday evening. (You can see their happy little shout-out here!)

Wow, $1,500? That’s definitely going to be a stretch! I can’t wait to see what you accomplish. :)
