Hot on the tails of yesterday’s post about our upcycled motorcycle towel, I moved on to having a new love in the kitchen.
I’m dropping in quickly today to again shout-out for the wonderful Fishs Eddy, who just launched a collection by Brooklyn-based designer Lotta Jansdotter and immediately won over my heart all over again by making it accessible in their online shop (yes, I’m late to the Lotta-love game). I’ve been singing praises for this collection over on facebook for awhile, but hadn’t placed an order yet. Because really, how could a girl decide?
In the midst of celebrating my 28th birthday (my real birthday was yesterday, but the whole week has been killer), something special arrived in the mail. Among many wonderful activities, cake, and gifts, some of our friends surprised my pants off by gifting me some of this fantastic collection:
The new plate (currently displaying tomatoes from the garden on our kitchen island) is the perfect little touch of modern whimsy, it’s subtle and unique shape so different than everything else I own that it’s a total standout piece.
And the hand towel? It’s darling. Cody has been warned.
More of the collection at Fishs Eddy can be seen here. Lotta’s official website is here.
