Add some sparkle to your New Year’s fiesta by adorning your taper centerpieces with a little glitz and glimmer. It doesn’t cost much to add a little decor to your decor, and the creative options are endless, so run with it!
(P.S. Perform the same magic with glitter, or spiraling tinsel. These plastics will fall loose or melt as the taper lowers, just be wary of using threads or materials that could catch fire.)

Step 1
Adding sequins to candles really dresses them up on a New Years table. Start by organizing your materials, getting that hot glue melty-hot, and mapping out your plan of attack.
Step 2
You won’t need a lot of hot glue; just a dot will do it. Apply the sequins one at a time into any pattern you like. Leave a few inches free at the top for the immediate and imminent wax runoff.
Step 3
Place the tapers into your favorite candlestick holders, and enjoy the party!
