A few years back when I first set out to leave my 9-5, I diversified my income efforts and channeled my energies into the production and sales of pretty barnwood picture frames. I made a lot and sold a lot, but even so, there are still many unsold products making themselves at home in our attic. We can only display so many barnwood frames in our little home; they’re here and there, but there just isn’t enough room for every last one.
To make use of one of them, I transitioned it into a new seasonal decor piece, and I never thought I’d love taking paint to naturally worn barnwood as much as I did this project; it turned out really nicely and I’m sure it’ll be a great holiday accent for years to come.
Check out the whole project for yourself in today’s post on DIY Network!
