I’ve been hunting for the perfect curtain fabric for the sunroom since summertime when I painted the front doors a sweet eggplant-y purple. Now that the siding is done, I really want to get the curtains up to finish up the look of the house from the curb (the driveway and landscaping will have to wait until the snow melts).
I’m mostly looking through purples (but you’ll see a few grays below too), because I think it would look pleasant if the purple in the door was reflected in the sunroom. Here’s a picture of the front – purple door on the right will be balanced out by curtains in the sunroom on the left:
(Oh yeah, and that front porch is my brand-spankin’ new work-in-progress… those two random posts will have to be removed still. AND, so happy it wasn’t snowing like it is here when we worked on building it!)
I feel like I’ve exhausted the local JoAnn’s, and I haven’t been able to access the local designer-only shops, so I’m turning to some of my fave online shops for inspiration, and something less run-of-the-mill. I’ll default to a sheer white as a plan B (and I already have some of that fabric on-hand), but I found some colorful and detailed options online that reinvigorate me (I should note – some were in clearance, so they may no longer be available to me or you. Bummer, I’m sorry.).
Here are the ones I’m stewing over (and if you click on each image, you’ll see the source of the fabric):
Any other recommendations on where to find great fabric online now that you see the styles I’m looking for? I’ve observed that many sites have limited inventory, and I’m looking for either 9 or 12 yards. Suggestions appreciated!

Me too! Having so much trouble being decisive in the new year. And it doesn’t help that I keep getting other suggestions that would look fantastic too… :) Decisions, decisions…
