My latest Etsy purchase arrived, and it’s fan-freakin’-tastic. Really, it’s truly too pretty not to share immediately, even though I don’t have a frame… or location in mind to hang it yet. The swooning hasn’t stopped since it showed up on my doorstep, and I’ve been tucking it safely into it’s bed of protective tissue paper and cardboard every night; OCD anyone? You might say It was love at first sight. I’ve been healthily obsessed with sailboats and their grace for as long as I can recall, and I didn’t even know that I wanted to add more yellows into my home, but I think it fits the bill very nicely (and I like to think it gives me permission to go find more amazingly yellow decor).
And it gets better — the artist, Amber Perrodin, sent me a handmade thank you card that’s equally frame-able, and this extra mini-print as well: Birds sitting on a wire.
Gotta say, I love her style and the block printing technique used on these pieces, so I’m excited to see what other prints she’ll post in the future.
You can find your own print at her shop here. And no, she didn’t ask me to write this post for her. It’s purely my language.

Etsy really is pretty neat. Great find.
Thanks Fred! The quality is really nice too – heavy stock, durable ink (I believe I read it was oil-based so it would hold up well over time).
I love all of Amber’s work! She is a sweetheart! I have 2 of her prints as well!
Which ones!!
Those are awesome! Love them!
