Last fall, I drooled over online home and garden deals on the internet.
Today, on the first day of spring, mostly to celebrate that I survived wintertime, I’m pointing out some of my newest favorite home and garden accents. In the market to makeover your deck/patio/porch? Hope these products lend you some inspiration. Click directly on the images to link straight to the product page. If you’re looking at this post long beyond its publish date, I’m sorry if the items are no longer available.
1. Buy me: Bag Planters
I want a whole buncha canvas/cloth planters to soften our cement and ceramic planter garden this year. These look rough and easy to move, thanks to those thick rope handles. And if they weren’t destroyed after a year of water soaking through the base, they’d make for great storage indoors too.
2. Buy me: A new flagstone patio table
The round flagstone patio we installed last summer really needs something extra, and I’ve been thinking more and more about investing in a round coffee table-height piece that we can flank our Adirondack chairs around and work at during the warm summer days. This Plow & Hearth model (that I found on Amazon) might be the right fit for our outdoor space.
3. Buy me: Rocha deck chairs
In addition to scoping out new flagstone patio tables, I’d really love to find a new table for our deck itself (the umbrella we bought last year is more than a little out of scale with our current set). Even though I haven’t landed on a table yet, but I am drawn to lots of chairs, including these from Crate & Barrel. Maybe because Rocha rhymes with Mocha. Also, they look a whole lot like the chairs I coveted last fall. Right? Right.
They’re a little out of my price range, but I can have stretch goals, right?
4. Buy me: Geo Planters
I like my garden planters as much as I like my long walks on the beach, that’s why planters are popping up again in this short list. These iron planters from CB2 are basically the big mass-manufactured sisters to the little geometric planters I made by hand for the wedding, so I’ll consider them family. Come to momma.
5. Buy me: A charming birdfeeder
I don’t think these feeders from Uncommon Goods are exactly what I’m looking for, but they are along the right lines, and they would undoubtedly look cute hung in front of our kitchen window. The colors are what throw me off. My search continues.
What items are on your must-buy list this spring?

None, Naaah. Nothing to buy – trying to just reuse and be a little creative. Great ideas to get started!
