Come November, I’m pretty sure it’ll look like that watermelon is tucked beneath my shirt. Side note: Fruit salad being is served with every meal this weekend.
Now that I’m in my second trimester, I’m starting to get my energy back which hopefully bodes well for all of the summertime DIY plans we have for our to-be new home. Who knew it would be so hard to write posts every evening when you fall asleep at 8pm? I hope to be back to a more regular routine soon.

Thanks Melissa! Here’s to hoping no one else noticed that I skipped a lot of days on the ol’ blog. On days that I couldn’t fit in a project or a post, I just slacked off and didn’t stress about it… taking it “easy” and taking care of other things has been really good. We have so many summer house plans though, I’m hoping to be able to keep up with it all because documenting the changes and improvements is really what I love about what I’m doing. Cheers!
