There’s some cool news circulating the internet today.
And it’s kind of a big deal. Check out this video to see what I mean. (And then join me in doing a little happy dance.)
Whoa. That’s me. And I’m talking about the real DIY Network. Yes, I’m Happy. Glazed over, actually. Speechless, humbled, self-conscious, and anxious. But I couldn’t be more excited to announce the union of me + DIY Network = <3.
As a contributor, you’ll see me posting on their website with real DIY projects made and used in my house. I think you’ll like what you see.
There’s more too. Out-takes.
For my first-ever beginning-to-end video effort, I spent a week filming on Pete’s Canon G12 and editing in (the surprisingly intuitive) iMovie. A full week of first-time filming means there were more mistakes than successes. See a fraction of them here, montage-style. Enjoy!
Studfest? Snort? That masking tape that I was inexplicably clenching? Hi. That’s me. I’m blushing and even more conscious now, but still happy.
