Come to find, a new patio is the ULTIMATE in summertime happiness, and I’m not just saying that, this thing is awesome.
After you read this week’s post about how the finishing touches came together, you should just come over and throw your legs over the arm of one of the adirondack chairs and enjoy a scone and some nice iced coffee. And while you’re here, I probably won’t put you to work helping me with the kitchen cabinet staining, but just so you know, it’s a possibility.
If you missed any part of this mini-series, start at the beginning by reading about how we planned to build a new patio, how we excavated the space, and how we positioned thousands of pounds of flagstone.
P.S. We’re having a wonderful time in Hershey, PA! Both Pete and I have been posting to instagram, so follow us if you don’t already (dadandblog and merrypad)!

Wow, the project’s outcome is amazing. The choice of rocks and pebbles as decoration is a creative one.
